Angel Salazar started Gracious Angel Foundation with one simple belief: kindness should move as fast as need does.

What began as one person sharing meals and essentials with unhoused neighbors in Los Angeles has grown into a grassroots movement helping families facing food insecurity, financial hardship, and displacement.

Angel’s background in wellness and community work shaped his hands-on approach. He’s spent years helping people feel seen, cared for, and restored—both physically and emotionally. That same energy lives in every outreach program the foundation runs.

“I didn’t want to wait for someone else to build the kind of help I wish existed,” Angel says. “Sometimes people don’t need a miracle—they just need groceries, dignity, and someone who shows up without judgment.”

Today, Gracious Angel Foundation continues to serve with that same heart: practical compassion, local action, and grace in motion.
